Night Has Come

Excerpt from Addleberg Lang:

This song was one that I just wanted to write, not having any particular story or character in mind. I’ve now used it in at least two stories and will probably use it in more. Though it’s typically thought of as a Wolvish lullaby, it was actually written by a Karzac Muse and later translated and absorbed into Wolvish culture.

English-

Sleepy child the night has come
The moon is high above our heads
And it is time to go to bed
Our day’s been full
And sleep now pulls
So leave your other thoughts unsaid
Sleepy child the night has come
Tell me goodnight and close your eyes
And I will sing this lullaby
I will guard you
While you sleep
This is a promise I will keep
Sleepy child the night has come
The morning will follow soon
